About scully fitness

Scully Fitness is owned by Annaghdown local, Gary Scully. Its beginnings go back to one fateful day in 2015 when Gary found himself offering to run a spin class for some of the local footballers who were keen for Gary's guidance on how to boost their fitness levels.

 

Fast forward five years and Gary has gone on to grow Scully Fitness from a small class in his local community hall to a first class, fully equipped facility located in Mace, Corrandulla which members of the local community, of all ages, can enjoy. With a strong belief in providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where people of all fitness levels can feel comfortable, today Gary runs the gym with his team of highly passionate and expert fitness instructors. 

 

Gary is a fully qualified Fitness Trainer with over 10 years experience working with teams and athletes across a range of sports including soccer, boxing, surfing and swimming both in Ireland and Australia. He also has over 6 years Personal Training experience.

Located in Mace, Corrandulla, Scully Fitness encompasses a full range of cardio equipment, free weights area, and a dedicated Spinning Studio which can take up 20 people at a time, ensuring an electric atmosphere in each of our instructor led classes! Our changing room facilities are fully equipped so that if you're heading somewhere after your workout, you can be sure you do so looking as great as you feel!​

 

We also run fitness classes in Cloughanover Hall in Headford which are included free of charge to all our members.

 

CLASSES

We offer a variety of morning and evening classes which take place over 2 locations. Many of our memberships include unlimited access to our classes.

Spin Class

Spin Class

A brilliantly unique class due to the low impact nature of cycling, this 40 minute class is the perfect option for anyone looking to torch the calories without worrying about ability to perform certain exercises. Suitable for all levels, this class will leave you feeling supercharged with energy for days. We GUARANTEE that after 3 classes, you will feel like a new person!

Body Blast

Body Blast

Body Blast is a cardio charged workout that is high energy and motivating! This is a high intensity interval training class that incorporates challenging cardio segments, resistance training, and intense core work using diverse fitness equipment to blast your body into shape fast.

Early Riser

For the Scully Fitness family early birds, this class is the perfect way to kickstart your morning. These morning classes are only 35 minutes long and consist of step aerobics, body pump, kettlebells, BOOTCAMP, circuits & core.

Body Pump

Body Pump

The ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – FAST. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Our top class instructors will coach you through the moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own!

BOXFIT

BOXFIT

Boxfit is a class involving various drills and circuits using boxing pads and gloves. Everything is low impact, safe and instructed by our trainer throughout to ensure that your whole upper body is feeling energised by the end of it. Great for toning the upper body and arms. Combine this class with Spinning, and you’ll have everything covered.

Circuits

Circuits

Circuit training is a high intensity, fast-paced workout that can help tone your body and shed fat. With a different range of exercises each week this class is brilliant for pushing yourself to the limit to get the ultimate body conditioning workout. Combining strength and cardio exercises this class will work every part of your body and push your fitness levels onto the next gear!
